Phase 1 environmental site assessments represent significant potential risk both to the firms providing these services and to the firms relying on them.

In Association with the Environmental Industry Commission (EIC) and the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE), Landmark have put together a programme which considers some of the key factors in commissioning environmental site assessments in the UK, the role of standards, and some of the inherent risks in data collection.

We draw experience from the USA where there is evidence of spiralling growth in claims to insurance carriers and the growing number of cases filed in the courts. We take a legal viewpoint on environmental reports and discuss the role of insurance in the UK.

Landmark is committed to best practice and the provision of quality information and we hope that this seminar will stimulate further debate amongst environmental professionals to reduce the risks that they are increasingly facing in their profession.

Whether you provide or use Phase 1 services, or are responsible for risk management, this seminar is a must. Learn from the mistakes made by others and how to avoid costly litigation in this high-risk business.
