Aspinwall + Company is carrying out a brief research project for CIRIA which has the objective of illustrating successful examples of remedial treatment of contaminated land. The illustration is to be provided by video film of active sites which will also then form the basis of written case histories to be presented in the CIRIA report.
The project is being funded by CIRIA, SEPA, DETR and the Television Educational Network (TEN).
The illustration is to be provided by video film of active sites which will also then form the basis of written case histories to be presented in the CIRIA report. The material will then be formed into a training package.
The film makers are looking to shoot the film from June - August 1999. Contributors will be fully recognised, but the sensitivity of sites will be respected to accord with any client requirements.
It is anticipated that up to 10 sites may be used to exemplify good practice on solutions utilising; landfill, barriers/ containment, ex situ and in-situ processes.
This is an opportunity to showcase some of the high quality and/ or innovative work that is being carried out across the full range of techniques in contaminated land remediation.
If you have a site that will be operating in this timeframe and believe that it may be an appropriate candidate for such film treatment, please contact
